Imperfect Foods Taps New CEO
Imperfect Foods has named Dan Park as its new CEO, effective Jan. 3, 2022.
The online grocer, which works with farmers and producers to redistribute goods across grocery categories, aims to eliminate the 35% of food that goes to waste in the U.S. Sourcing ugly and surplus produce, Imperfect Foods delivers goods directly to customers.
Park comes to Imperfect Foods after four years at BuildDirect Technologies, a Canadian online marketplace for building materials, where he previously served as CEO. As CEO, he took the company public and remains a board member. He has nearly 30 years of experience building and leading world-class teams at top-tier, multi-billion-dollar retail and technology companies.

Fabric Appoints First SVP of Corporate Marketing
Fabric, a headless commerce platform that helps retailers grow digital revenue, has appointed Craig Berman as its first-ever senior vice president of corporate marketing.
In his new role, Berman will lead public relations, social media and content creation. He will report directly to Chief Marketing Officer Karen Brewer. Berman joins fabric from Amazon, where he worked on the global communications team, leading the small team to a major PR force. He also served as head of PR and publicity for Prime Video/Amazon Studios.
He comes to fabric as the company is undergoing massive growth in customers and partners, as well as rapid product development. Fabric raised more than $153 million in funding since November 2019, attracting talent from Amazon, Google, HPE and Twilio. The company also recently launched its fabric Marketplace, an end-to-end dropshipping-based solution that automates creation and operation of curated digital marketplaces for brands and merchants.
