Forever 21 Names New CEO

Forever 21 has tapped Winnie Park as its new CEO.

The appointment, which was announced Jan. 19, was effective immediately. Park joins Forever 21 from Paper Source, where she served as CEO for the past six years. She led the sale of the brand to an affiliate of Barnes & Noble. She will report to Marc Miller, CEO of SPARC, which acquired Forever 21 in 2020 in partnership with Brookfield Property Partners.

Prior to Paper Source, Park served in high profile executive positions across e-commerce, global marketing and fashion merchandising, including nine years at international luxury retailer DFS, a division of LVMH. She is currently on the board and audit committee of Dollar Tree and is on the Board for Women in Retail Leadership.

“As CEO, Winnie will add fresh perspective and approaches in connecting with the Forever 21 customer which will help drive Forever 21 from its current $2 billion sales level to new heights of success as a leading brand in SPARC's Fashion and Lifestyle brand portfolio," said Marc Miller, CEO of SPARC.

Vibenomics Promotes Exec to CFO

Vibenomics, the audio out-of-home advertising and audio experience company, has promoted Jenny Quinnette from senior vice president of finance to CFO. She is the first CFO for the company.

In her new role, Quinnette will leverage her more than 15 years of market knowledge and experience in navigating companies through development and growth stages to transform Vibenomics’ finance, accounting, business intelligence and business operations.

“As Vibenomics undergoes rapid growth, we knew it was time to appoint a CFO,” said Brent Oakley, CEO of Vibenomics. “Jenny’s deep experience overseeing financial operations within the accounting and technology sectors, in addition to her leading operational changes, will generate an immediate impact.”

The appointment comes after Vibenomics recently penned a multi-year deal with Hy-Vee, and the company’s 400-plus stores will begin broadcasting Vibenomics audio on Feb. 15.

Quinnette’s past experience include leadership on the accounting and reporting team at 40|86 Advisors. She also previously served as director of finance and accounting at Allegiant and CFO of OneBridge.
